SAM NEJABAT

Sam Nejabat is the Partner in charge of US Public Policy and Public Affairs Consulting practice at Tanto Capital Partners.

 

Previously he served as the senior advisor of Business Affairs to Attorney General Rob Bonta at the California Department of Justice. Before joining the DOJ, Sam served as assistant deputy director of External Affairs for the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development, and as president of SJN Properties from 2013 to 2020.

Sam has been appointed to the 22nd District Agricultural Association Board of Directors by Governor Newsom, also known as the Del Mar Fairgrounds, a member of the San Diego Convention Center Board of Directors (appointed by Mayor Todd Gloria), and a Trustee of the California State University System, once again appointed by Governor Newsom.

Sam earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a juris doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a master’s degree in liberal studies from Dartmouth College.
