Omer spent his last couple of years as a private equity and venture capital investment professional at Turkey Development Fund, Istanbul, focusing on early-stage tech startups and growth companies. Before his Private Equity experience, Omer worked at the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Treasury and Finance as a project manager regarding medium-term technology investment projects of the government. Omer actively sustains his venture capital expertise as an advisor, focusing on Web 3.0, to several startups and a couple of VC funds in the UK and Canada.

Omer holds a degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences and pursued further graduate studies at Harvard University. Omer speaks Turkish, English, and Arabic.
